The Discovery Phase

If I were going to work a puzzle, the first thing I would do, is turn all of the pieces face-up. Next, I may start grouping pieces by color or other visual clues. These steps may seem trivial, but they lay the foundation for success.

Before solutioning a problem, I must define and understand it. Discovery gives me time to research the user(s), understand business goals, and evaluate similar solutions.

Research can take up to 50% of a project’s timeline. The findings are documented, and steer decision making in the next three phases. View examples of my deliverables below:
