The only way to know if our solution solves the problem, is to observe users interact with it. Soliciting user feedback will shrink the iteration cycle and ensure our solutions are getting better with each release. In a perfect world, users are validating our solution throughout the Discovery, Ideation, and Design Phases… and not solely at the end.
Validating wireframes is just as valuable as high fidelity prototypes. A/B Testing is another great way to make data-driven decisions.
The deliverables during the Validation Phase are user-centric… what users said, did, and/or clicked on. What is learned in this phase will lead to better questions for the next Discovery Phase… where the cycle will begin anew.
